Canyon, Skydive and your choice of Jumboland or Siberia Expeditions
This package includes three of Wanaka's most active and challenging experiences. The first day you limber up with a choice of two full day expeditions, both in the beautfiful Makarora region of Mt Aspiring National Park. The Jumboland adventure takes you by helicopter on a short scenic over the Southern Alps to land at Jumboland in the Wilkin River valley. Your hike out takes up to 4 hours, with time for a lunch stop and you are met by jetboat for one of New Zealand's best jetboat rides back out to civilisation and Makarora.

The Jumboland hike is well marked but does require more confidence in remote hiking and greater fitness than the Siberia trip. The neighbouring Siberia Valley trail is probably steeper but the track is to a high standard and the hike is shorter, at 2-3 hours. If you choose the Siberia option you also enjoy a short scenic flight into to the Siberia Valley, hike through a forested valley back out to the Wilkin River and are met by a jetboat for an exhilerating ride back out to Makaroa. Both of these hikes are self-guided, we will supply directions, map, light lunches, (walking poles and daypack if necessary). Good hiking footwear essential.
